Gmail labels get two new features, graduated from Gmail Labs

Gmail labelsGmail labels are an absolute godsend for many, making email organization just a little bit easier. Today, two Gmail labs label add-ons, 'Hide read labels' and 'Hide Labels from Subjects,' have graduated from Labs to Gmail proper. Their move to fully-fledged features has also given them the ability to hide just some labels from subjects, allowing you to chose which to show or keep hidden. The Labels tab in Settings and the drop-down menus for each label have also gotten a little love from Big G, making them more organized and easier to use.

You don't have to do anything if you happen to be using either of the Gmail Labs add-ons, as they'll be migrated automatically for you -- but if you haven't checked them out yet, head to Settings to check out what all the fuss is about.
